Roasted Yam Cakes with Blackberry Ginger Salsa

Preheat oven to 350 F. On parchment-lined baking sheet, unfold out diced yam. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or till tender when pierced with fork. Alternatively, steam in massive saucepan till tender. Take away to massive bowl and put aside to chill. Hold oven temperature at 350 F.
